Featured Collections
EASTinternational Archive
The items in this collection are archival material or items held by the university relating to EASTinternational, a yearly international exhibition which ran from 1991 - 2009, curated by Lynda Morris. The total number of artists included within this archive numbers some 522, chosen from among thousands of applications. The theme for each year was set through the appointment of two selectors, who were usually an artist and an art critic. As our audit of the archives is ongoing, more material is regularly being added to this collection.
Norwich University of the Arts Archive
The Norwich University of the Arts Archive Archive houses items dating from 1842 to present day, including items in reference to the history of the university. As our audit of the archives is ongoing, more material is to be added to this collection.
Norwich University of the Arts Collection
The Norwich University of the Arts Collection contains work from staff, students, and alumni from 1965 to the present day. It includes artists such as Ana Maria Pacheco, Alexis Hunter, and Colin Self.
Norwich University of the Arts Historical Collection
The Norwich University of the Arts Historical collection contains works produced by staff, students, and alumni of the university from 1861 to 1964, during which time it was known as The Norwich School of Art. Notable artists within this collection include Alfred Munnings, Gertrude Offord, and John Sell Cotman.
The Norwich Gallery Archive
The Norwich Gallery Archive contains items relating to the university's internationally renown gallery, once located on the ground floor of the Gunton's Building. The archive includes exhibition catalogues and photographs, finishing in June 2015 when the gallery featured its last exhibition before becoming EAST Gallery. As our audit of the archives is ongoing, more material is to be added to this collection.
