EASTinternational Archive
The items in this collection are archival material or items held by the university relating to EASTinternational, a yearly international exhibition which ran from 1991 - 2009, curated by Lynda Morris. The total number of artists included within this archive numbers some 522, chosen from among thousands of applications. The theme for each year was set through the appointment of two selectors, who were usually an artist and an art critic. Within the archive, we hold approximately 5000 slides and over 1500 physical photographs of installation weeks, exhibitions, talks, and opening events. As our audit of the archives is ongoing, more material is regularly being added to this collection.
